A New Start to 2012

Hi everyone,Im back in action again and will try to keep this blog up to date.We are of course now established in our new house in Norfolk,where we are running courses in 2012.

 We have classes starting in April and running through to September.The courses are for 4 days each..Saturday and Sunday followed by Monday /Tuesday.Some people are joining us for 2 days and some for the whole 4 day long weekend.There are a good range of subjects and titles including including Seagos Norfolk,Spring Landscapes,A Splash of Colour,Flowers with Acrylic Ink,Impressionist landscapes,Wide Skies and Watery landscapes and lots more.Oils,Watercolour,Pen and Wash,Acrylic Ink...hopefully something for everyone.......Phone or email for a brochure or more information....01508536934..Sues mobile 07773668504...Johns mobile 07811717414. wjohnshave@hotmail.co.uk

 Our new home is a lovely old 3 bay hall house dating from 1390.It is very pretty with thatched roof and original old beamed ceilings and walls. The classes are held in the original great hall.Some courses include painting days around the local countryside to some beautiful locations.Others are in and around the house and local farmland.

 Courses are usually limited to 8 people and a nice lunch is supplied with wine.Tea and coffee all day and picknics on the days out.Course details will include some very nice local B and B's to choose from.

RSMA Mall Gallery London

Hi everyone
Well the RSMA is almost finished now.Hope you had a chance to visit,it was a great exhibition as usual.I was lucky enough to have a couple of paintings selected and have sold one of those which is rather nice.
I have a few exhibitions comming up soon..Im at Picturecraft Gallery at Holt in Norfolk starting 12th November till Christmas eve and closed 25th Nov to2nd Dec.Mandels Gallery in Norwick with The East Anglia Group of Marine Painters.Starts on 4th December and The Wapping Group is comming up in February 2011.
Thought I might give you a preview of some of these paintings so I have attached some of them.Please feel free to comment on them if you like.

Wadhurst exhibition

Just to let you know,I will be exhibiting at the Wadhurst art exhibition.(near Tunbridge Wells E/Sussex)
 
Private view is 2nd Sept. 6pm to 9pm.   Everyone welcome
 
After that the exhibition runs 3rd till 12 Sept. 10 am till 8pm daily (10am till 4pm last day)
 
I will be at the exhibition on Sunday 5th demonstrating at the meet the artists afternoon between 12 and 4pm

Back from Suffolk

Hello everyone,
were back home again.Its nice to be back and it was a really nice and productive trip.The weather was a mixture of sunshine and showers and even that was great with storm clouds overhead sometimes and beautiful sunny fields at other times and some absolutely glorius sunsets.I have included a few paintings from the trip,hope you like them.They are all small pochade paintings ranging from 3ins x2ins to 9ins x 5ins. and all in oil .More soon
